#46 MA' UNEH: A LEGENDARY SUNDANESE DELICACY

After having breakfast at Aston Primera. I visited one of the most favorable sundanese restaurant in Bandung, Ma'Uneh. It has been established for about three generations of Ma'Uneh family. The happy thing is the recipe's still alive. But. as the time passes, Ma'Uneh's share's also owned by another people. Due to some conflicts, Ma'Uneh got 'divorced'. This one is located at Setiabudi, while another one is at Padjadjaran.

The ambience here was traditional and dominated by wood elements. It literally raised up my appetite for those sundanese foods.

For the food, Ma'Uneh got many selections with their speciality in sundanese food. And here's plenty delights that I got.

Ikan Bilih Goreng

Ikan Bilih Goreng
This one was simply great. It tasted savory in a proper way and fried-well. It's perfect to eat this with chili and rice.

Karedok

The veggies here were really fresh, as I could still could feel the crisp of them. For me, the nut dressing was not spicy, and a bit sweet. It should be spicier than this. Overall, it's a good one.

Ayam Goreng Ma'Uneh

The chicken was tender in a proper way. It was a nice one, but not the best I ever got.

Pepes Ikan Peda

To be frank, as I wasn't that into sundanese food, it was my very first Peda dishes. So, I dare my self to try this. Firstly, I took a quite big bite-size of  it and unfortunately it was extremely salty. Anyway, It's good to enjoy it with (again) rice.

Ikan Gurame Asam Manis

It looked so appetizing, thumbs up for the presentation. Happily, It came in a quite big size. For me, The sauce tasted too sweet. I personally prefer the one I usually got at Chinese Restaurant, like Angke, Rendesvouz, etc.

Sayur Asam

Directly, I just loved this one.

I'm not sure of what it really was. Apparently, It's kind of super tiny clams. They declared this one as their special menu. At my first try, I had to eat plenty of them once to get the real taste, or I'll get a tasteless stuff. I might say that this one was unique and worth trying :)

To sum it up, Ma'Uneh was a must-try for sundanese food seekers. I think it would be matched to most of indonesians. I found the price here's really affordable for everyone. If you're that curious of these delights, you should have a try! ENJOY!
